This kit includes materials and tools used to stiffen soft RV "sandwich" floors. The kit uses the Composet SLV™ repair resin and wood dowels to help repair soft RV floors and does not damage stryofoam insulation.
The object of the kit is to attach the upper and lower plywood layers using a grid pattern of short wood dowels bonded through the rigid foam insulation to increase rigidity.
Included are detailed instructions, injection syringes, mix tools, dowels, drill bit and other tools.
Small kit typically covers 8-10 square feet, and the large kit 15-20 square feet

- the Composet CompoBond® based kit are for "open wall" situations where a heavier-bodied resin is desirable. The CompoBond® is thick enough to brush, roll, or trowel onto the surface, however it can be pumped through a large syringe and tube (included in some kits).
- the inside of the wall must be dry and in reasonable condition with the delaminated layers present.
- This product will fill intermittent gaps up to 1/8". Clamping is also required.
*Application temperature is between 60F and 80F. Work time is 40-minutes at 72F. Cure time is 24-hours.

An 'Open Wall" occurs when the siding and/or plywood has peeled away and the injection process is not feasible.
These kits come with the original proprietary Composet Compobond® resin formulation developed for use in RV, Motorhome, and Camper fiberglass siding repair. Composet Compobond® is a dedicated composite bonding system system developed to adhere and re-bond water damaged RV walls without melting the styrofoam insulation. Kits include recommended tools including correct gauging trowel, adhesive roller sleeve, and other tools. PLUS kits include roller & large syringes for localized injection.
Another product that may be an option is the Stabond Contact Cement. This product does not fill gaps and is unforgiving. It bonds immediately (eliminates clamping) so there is no adjustment window. The Stabond products require spray equipment, and can melt foam insulation if not applied properly.
